Un bit es un solo dígito binario: 0 o 1.

Un bit almacena un valor binario. Un byte agrupa ocho bits.

Un byte son ocho bits.
1 byte = 8 bits (8 bits por byte)

Los prefijos SI e IEC son distintos: 1 kB son 1.000 bytes y 1 KiB son 1.024 bytes. NIST
